Gaylord, Mich. – Scattered thunderstorms will sweep across northern Michigan late Saturday into early Sunday, bringing cooler air and potential travel slowdowns across counties from Traverse City to Alpena.
According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, a line of storms will track across the region overnight with temperatures dipping to the mid-60s in some areas. Storm activity is expected to linger into Sunday morning before clearing skies allow temperatures to rebound into the low 70s.
