Washington, DC – The National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington says dry, cool weather will persist across the Mid-Atlantic through the weekend, with high pressure keeping skies mostly clear and winds light.
Forecasters expect highs today between 55°F and 61°F and overnight lows in the 30s and lower 40s. Sunday will feature similar conditions with partly sunny skies and temperatures warming slightly into the upper 50s to low 60s.
By Monday, a low-pressure system approaching from the southwest is expected to bring increasing cloud cover and possibly a few light showers across central Virginia. However, the Washington–Baltimore metro area is likely to remain dry through at least early in the week.
