Manchester, N.H. – New Hampshire State Police have renewed their call for information in the 1995 unsolved homicide of Walter Page, whose death remains one of Manchester’s longstanding cold cases.

According to the New Hampshire Cold Case Unit, emergency crews responded at 3:12 p.m. on December 14, 1995, to a reported building fire at 123 Walnut Hill Avenue in Manchester. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they discovered the body of Walter Page, 76, in the cellar and office area of the home.

Investigators later determined that Page had suffered multiple stab wounds. A comprehensive investigation was launched and continued for several months, but despite extensive interviews and forensic review, no arrests were ever made.

The New Hampshire State Police are again urging the public to come forward with any information that could help identify the person responsible for Page’s death. Even small details or recollections from the time may aid investigators, they said.

Residents can submit information through the Cold Case Unit tip form or by emailing coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov.
