Louisville, KY – Cloudy skies across Kentucky are expected to gradually clear Saturday, giving way to warmer weather by Sunday. Areas along the I-65 corridor, including Louisville and Elizabethtown, should enjoy partly sunny skies and highs near 65 degrees Sunday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high will reach 55 degrees, with calm winds and clearing skies by evening. Tonight, temperatures will drop to 42 degrees under partly cloudy skies, so residents should prepare for a cool night.

Looking ahead, Monday will bring continued warm temperatures, with highs climbing to 67 degrees. However, a weather system arriving late Monday night into Tuesday could bring rain to central Kentucky, with a 20–80% chance of showers extending into Tuesday afternoon. Rainfall is expected to be light, but localized slick conditions could develop.

The five-day outlook predicts a slight cooldown midweek. Wednesday and Thursday will bring highs in the upper 50s, along with a 40–50% chance of showers in the afternoons. Cooler nighttime lows in the mid-30s are anticipated through late week, so residents should prepare for fluctuating temperatures.

Travelers along I-65 and Bluegrass Parkway should remain cautious, especially during Monday’s potential rain. Stay informed by monitoring weather updates to adjust travel plans or outdoor activities.
