Kenosha, WI – Kenosha Police are searching for an individual who attempted to enter Roosevelt Elementary School on Tuesday, prompting security measures across all Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) campuses. The person, seen carrying suspicious bags, briefly entered a secured entryway before fleeing the building.
According to Kenosha Police, the individual left school property and remains unidentified. Police have asked the public to provide any information about the suspect. In response, KUSD implemented a secure hold, preventing anyone from entering or exiting school buildings, while law enforcement agencies increased patrols around all district schools.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has stationed deputies at each school as a precaution, assuring parents that no immediate threat exists. Authorities continue to follow leads to locate the individual and maintain that the suspect never accessed student areas within Roosevelt Elementary.
