Iroquois County, IL – I-57 Closure for Bridge Demolition

Iroquois County, IL – Starting Monday, I-57 at the Buckley interchange (exit 272) will be closed for two consecutive nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the demolition of the south half of the Iroquois County Highway 9 bridge.

According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, traffic will be detoured off and onto I-57 using the exit and entrance ramps at CH 9. CH 9 will remain open to one lane in each direction on the north half of the bridge, with intersections controlled by flaggers. For more details, visit IDOT’s website.
