Ingham County, MI – Three Michigan men were arrested Wednesday, October 22, after allegedly attempting to meet and engage in sexual activity with a minor during a targeted enforcement operation led by the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, undercover officers posed as a 15-year-old girl in online communications. The suspects allegedly arranged to meet the fictitious minor for sexual purposes. When they arrived, they were taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Ingham County Jail.

The operation was supported by the Lansing Police Department, Michigan State Police, Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, and Genesee County Sheriff’s Office’s Global Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST).

All three suspects were arraigned Friday, October 24, in 55th District Court. They were each charged with Child Sexual Abusive Activity (a 20-year felony), two counts of Computers–Internet–Communicating with Another to Commit a Crime (20-year felonies), and Children–Accosting for Immoral Purposes (a 4-year felony).

The suspects include Gregory Leroy Jordan III, 37, of Lansing ($75,000 bond); Syed Muhammed Zaid Alvi, 30, of East Lansing ($1 million bond); and Kalil Davonte Brown, 24, of Farmington Hills ($75,000 bond).

The investigation remains ongoing.
