Homewood, IL – Three masked suspects robbed a Speedway gas station on South Halsted early Monday morning. Homewood Police responded to the robbery at 18002 S. Halsted at around 3:28 a.m.
According to the Homewood Police Department, the suspects entered the gas station, one armed with a handgun. They demanded money from the register and the store’s safe. The offenders took an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise before fleeing northbound on Halsted in a gray Nissan SUV.
Officers report that no injuries occurred during the incident. Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspects involved. Anyone with information should contact the Homewood Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 708-206-3420.
