Hanford, CA – After a cool October stretch, warmer weather is returning to much of Central California this week, according to the National Weather Service in Hanford.

A strong ridge of high pressure will build over the region starting Tuesday, bringing a noticeable warming trend that will last through next weekend. Forecast models show a growing chance of afternoon highs above 80°F, especially by Wednesday and Thursday.

The highest probabilities are centered over Lake Isabella, where there’s a 97–99% chance of reaching or exceeding 80° midweek. Other areas like Coalinga, Bakersfield, and Hanford will also warm steadily, with 55–70% odds of hitting 80° by Thursday.

The pattern is expected to continue through Sunday, November 2, keeping the Central Valley dry with light winds and mostly sunny skies. Nights will remain cool, but daytime conditions will feel more like early fall than late October.

Residents should enjoy the mild weather now — forecasters note temperatures could cool again by early November as the next system approaches.
