Louisville, KY – Halloween will bring cool, sunny, and breezy conditions across the Louisville area today, followed by a crisp and calm evening — ideal for trick-or-treating, according to the US National Weather Service Louisville KY.
Daytime highs are expected to reach the mid-50s to around 60°F, with westerly winds adding a light autumn chill. Winds will gradually ease after sunset, leaving mostly clear skies for evening festivities. Temperatures tonight will dip into the mid-30s to near 40°F, so residents heading out after dark should plan to bundle up.
The region will start dry this weekend, but clouds will increase Saturday, bringing a chance for light rain Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. Highs Saturday will again reach the upper 50s to low 60s before cooler air settles in.
The NWS notes that no significant rain is expected until late in the weekend, making Halloween day one of the better weather windows for outdoor events.
