Huntsville, Alabama — The National Weather Service in Huntsville reports that a series of dry cold fronts will keep the region cold through Wednesday.
According to the latest five-day outlook, daytime highs will generally range from the mid-30s to lower 40s through Tuesday, with overnight lows falling into the teens and 20s. Conditions are expected to remain dry during this period as the cold fronts move through the area.
By Wednesday, temperatures are forecast to warm slightly, with highs reaching the mid-40s to near 50 degrees. Forecasters note that precipitation could return to the area Wednesday night as temperatures begin to moderate.
The National Weather Service encourages residents to keep warm drinks handy, dress in warm layers, bring pets indoors, and check on friends, family, and neighbors during the cold stretch.
