Dodge County, WI – A Janesville woman was killed Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway I and County Highway E in the town of Burnett, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 11:26 a.m. on October 17, 2025, after reports of a collision involving a 2020 Chevy Blazer and a 2005 Sterling dump truck. Preliminary findings indicate the Blazer, driven by 64-year-old Cynthia McIntosh of Janesville, was traveling northbound on County Highway I when it entered the intersection and was struck by the westbound dump truck, driven by 66-year-old Timothy Wade of Randolph.
According to authorities, County Highway E has the right-of-way, while County Highway I is controlled by stop signs. Investigators have not yet determined whether the Blazer stopped before entering the intersection.
McIntosh suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. Wade sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
Multiple agencies assisted, including the Burnett and Horicon Fire Departments, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and Juneau Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
