Hanford, CA – A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday, November 30, for Tejon Pass and the I-5 Grapevine corridor, according to the National Weather Service in Hanford.

Forecasters report visibility as low as 800 feet in parts of the pass, caused by a layer of stratus clouds pushing up from the San Joaquin Valley. The dense fog is creating dangerous travel conditions along Interstate 5, especially where the road climbs into higher elevations.

Drivers are urged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and maintain extra distance between vehicles. The NWS warns of potential travel delays and advises motorists to anticipate slow or stopped traffic through the morning hours.

Conditions are expected to improve by late morning as the fog gradually lifts.
