Lockport, NY – Niagara County Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced the arrest of a local man following an investigation into narcotics trafficking. Brian M. Morrow, 36, of Lockport, was taken into custody on Monday, September 7, 2026, and charged with criminal possession of cannabis in the first degree.
The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant by the Niagara County Drug Task Force. Officials reported that the search led to the seizure of more than 10 pounds of cannabis, triggering the high level felony charge. The investigation, labeled case number 2026 43473, was overseen by Captain M. Licinio.
Morrow was processed and held at the Niagara County Jail to await his initial arraignment. No further details regarding the specific location of the search or the origin of the seized materials were provided in the initial press release.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office stated that the arrest was the result of diligent investigative work by the specialized drug task force. Authorities noted that additional information regarding the case will be shared as the legal process continues.
