Forecasters expect mostly cloudy skies and periods of rain Saturday, with afternoon highs ranging from 50 to 63 degrees depending on location.
Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall between 33 and 43 degrees, bringing a noticeably colder start to Sunday.
Communities across the Capital Region, including Albany, Schenectady, Troy and surrounding areas, should prepare for changing conditions throughout the weekend.
The broader forecast also includes portions of the Hudson Valley and nearby western New England.
Sunday will feel more like November.
The National Weather Service expects partly to mostly cloudy skies Sunday, with occasional sunshine and afternoon highs ranging from 47 to 61 degrees.
A brief shower remains possible across northern portions of the forecast area, although widespread rainfall is not currently indicated for Sunday.
Temperatures Sunday night could fall between 32 and 41 degrees, with some colder locations approaching the freezing mark.
