Springfield, MO – Dry and increasingly warm weather is expected across southwest Missouri this week, with regional temperatures climbing into the middle and upper 80s by Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, sunny conditions are expected throughout the Monday through Friday outlook. The agency described the pattern as dry and warming, with no precipitation depicted through the end of the workweek.
Monday will bring regional highs ranging from 75 to 83 degrees. Temperatures fall sharply after sunset, with overnight lows expected between 48 and 54.
Tuesday turns warmer, with highs from 78 to 84 degrees before nighttime temperatures fall into the 49 to 58 degree range.
The warmest conditions arrive around midweek. Wednesday's forecast calls for highs ranging from 82 to 88 degrees, followed by overnight lows of 54 to 60.
Thursday will be similarly warm and sunny, with highs again ranging from 82 to 88 degrees and lows between 54 and 60.
Friday remains warm, with afternoon temperatures forecast from 83 to 87 degrees. The NWS graphic does not provide Friday night temperatures.
