Minneapolis, MN – Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 16 year old girl who was last seen early Wednesday in Minneapolis and may still be in the area.
According to the Hennepin County Sheriff ’s Office and a missing person alert shared by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Cambria Fairbanks, 16, was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, near the 700 block of South Eighth Street in Minneapolis.
Authorities describe Cambria as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and approximately 175 pounds, with red and brown hair and green eyes.
She was last seen wearing a maroon top and maroon pants, according to investigators.
The sheriff’s office said Cambria is believed likely to remain in the Minneapolis area. Investigators said she may frequent grocery stores and could use light rail or buses, making the alert relevant to residents and transit riders across the city.
Officials released several photographs of Cambria as they work to generate tips about her whereabouts. The Minnesota BCA said it is sharing the alert on behalf of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and is not the investigating agency.
Anyone who sees Cambria or has information that could help investigators locate her is asked to contact the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office at 952 258 5321 . Anyone who believes they are currently seeing her should call 911 .
Authorities are encouraging the public to share the missing person alert to help reach anyone who may have information.
