According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at approximately 11:37 a.m. Thursday to reports of an explosion at an industrial building on Mary Street, between Cass Avenue and Hubbard Street.
Authorities confirmed that a 49 year old man from Macomb Township was pronounced deceased at the scene.
