Marquette, MI – Upper Michigan residents are facing a cold, wet and windy Friday, November 6, as a departing weather system brings lingering rain and occasional snowflakes before temperatures plunge as low as 19 degrees in some locations overnight.
According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, cold rain and windy conditions will gradually diminish from west to east late Friday morning as the weather system moves away from the Upper Peninsula.
A few snowflakes may continue mixing with rain, particularly across the higher elevations of Marquette and Baraga counties.
While wintry precipitation is possible, the National Weather Service has not indicated significant snowfall accumulation in its latest outlook.
