Michigan – Three state rest areas have been temporarily closed to the public due to ongoing power outages affecting the facilities.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the closures impact the Sandstone Rest Area on eastbound I 94 in Jackson County, as well as the Chelsea Rest Area on eastbound I 94 and the Northfield Church Rest Area on southbound US 23, both located in Washtenaw County.
