Gaylord, MI – Northern Michigan will gradually turn cooler through early next week, with light rain chances through Sunday and potential frost or freezing conditions during colder nights.
According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, partly cloudy skies and chances for light rain will continue through Sunday. Temperatures will generally remain in the 50s and 60s before a more noticeable cooldown arrives Monday.
Friday highs are forecast to range from 58 to 65 degrees. Friday night into Saturday morning will bring a chance for frost and freezing conditions in parts of northern Michigan, though the NWS indicates better chances will develop early next week.
Saturday remains cool, with highs from 60 to 64 degrees. Temperatures rebound somewhat Sunday, when afternoon readings are expected to range from 62 to 69 degrees.
Light rain will remain possible through Sunday, but the NWS outlook does not provide specific rainfall amounts or indicate widespread heavy rain.
A stronger push of cooler air is expected by Monday. High temperatures are forecast to range from just 53 to 61 degrees, making Monday the coolest day shown in the outlook.
