Detroit, MI – Southeast Michigan will remain dry through at least Wednesday, with cool nights and temperatures potentially reaching the freezing mark in colder locations Tuesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, an extended period of dry and generally seasonable conditions is expected across Southeast Michigan into next week.
Saturday will be partly sunny, with highs ranging from 63 to 66 degrees. Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall between 36 and 45 degrees.
Sunday brings sunshine and slightly warmer afternoon temperatures. Highs are expected to range from 68 to 71 degrees before lows fall into the 36 to 42 degree range overnight.
Cooler daytime conditions return Monday, when highs are forecast between 60 and 64 degrees. Monday night into Tuesday morning could bring the coldest temperatures in the five day outlook, with lows ranging from 32 to 40 degrees.
Those temperatures could bring localized frost or freezing conditions to the coldest locations. However, the NWS graphic does not identify a specific frost or freeze area or show a Frost Advisory or Freeze Warning.
Tuesday remains sunny, with highs of 62 to 65 degrees. Temperatures then moderate Wednesday, when highs are forecast to reach 68 to 71 degrees after morning lows between 38 and 44.
No precipitation is shown during the five day period. Southeast Michigan residents should expect a prolonged dry stretch through Wednesday, with Tuesday morning bringing the best chance for temperatures near freezing in colder spots.
