Ann Arbor City Council unanimously approved selling the long disputed Kline’s Lot to developer Hines for more than $14 million. The planned all electric, mixed use tower would include over 500 apartments and 10,000 square feet of commercial space. The decision ends years of debate but raises questions about affordability, downtown parking, construction disruption and impacts on nearby businesses.
