Owings Mills, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department 's Crash Team is currently investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that took place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Owings Mills Boulevard and Strawhill Court.
According to authorities, officers arrived at the scene to find 72 year old Wanda Grasu, who had been struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander. Ms. Grasu was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency personnel. Preliminary reports from investigators indicate that the driver of a Corolla was traveling southbound on Owings Mills Boulevard as they approached Strawhill Court when the collision occurred.
The investigation into the specific circumstances surrounding the crash remains active. Officials have not yet released details regarding potential charges or further identification of the vehicles involved. As the Crash Team continues to process evidence from the scene, the department is expected to provide further updates to the public.
