Johns Hopkins University has begun an international search for its next provost, a senior leader responsible for advancing academic priorities across the institution. A 25 member committee chaired by Theodore DeWeese, dean of the medical faculty and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine, will oversee the process. The appointment could influence the university’s future direction.
