Baltimore, Maryland – Light rain ends from north to south Wednesday, but cool, cloudy and breezy conditions will linger across the Baltimore Washington region.
According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, drier conditions arrive Thursday and Friday. Breezy weather will persist as a strong nor'easter develops offshore along the Eastern Seaboard.
Wednesday remains the coolest day in the three day outlook. High temperatures across the Weather Service coverage area range from 52 to 64 degrees, with light rain ending during the day.
Temperatures drop considerably Wednesday night. Overnight lows range from 41 to 54 degrees across the region.
Thursday turns drier, although clouds and breezy conditions remain. Highs range from 56 to 65 degrees before temperatures fall to between 37 and 51 overnight. Residents heading out early Friday should prepare for a chilly start, particularly in the colder locations.
A more noticeable warmup arrives Friday. Highs climb into the 62 to 72 degree range while breezy conditions continue.
The Weather Service did not provide specific wind speeds or identify particular roads, bridges or transit systems likely to experience disruptions. Drivers should account for lingering wet pavement Wednesday while light rain winds down.
The offshore nor'easter will help maintain breezy conditions even as the Baltimore Washington area dries out. Light rain ends Wednesday, followed by a dry Thursday and Friday and a gradual rise in daytime temperatures through the end of the workweek.
