Baltimore, MD – Homicide detectives in Baltimore County are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting that took place on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The incident occurred in the 8700 block of Mylander Lane within the 21286 zip code area.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department , officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:10 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders provided immediate aid at the scene before transporting the victim to an area hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced deceased.
The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting remains active. Detectives are currently canvassing the area for evidence and interviewing potential witnesses who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the incident. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of his next of kin.
Law enforcement is urging members of the public to come forward with any relevant information. Anyone with knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact the department at 410 887 4636.
