Baltimore County, MD Crash: Woman Killed in Head-On Collision
A 50 year old Reisterstown woman died in a head on collision in Baltimore County after an oncoming vehicle crossed the center line at a high rate of speed.

Baltimore County, MD – A 50 year old Reisterstown woman was killed Saturday night in a head on collision after another vehicle crossed the center lines at a high rate of speed, Baltimore County police said.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department , the crash happened at approximately 10:11 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Point Road and Shaws Road.
Officers responding to the scene found the drivers of a Ford F 250 and a Lexus TX500h. Police identified the Lexus driver as Halina Tsishchanka, 50, of Reisterstown.
Paramedics pronounced Tsishchanka dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team determined that the driver of the Ford F 250 crossed the double yellow center lines while traveling at a high rate of speed and collided head on with the Lexus.
Police did not identify the F 250 driver in Sunday's announcement or provide information about that driver's condition. Authorities also did not announce any charges in connection with the collision.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation by the department's Crash Team. Police described their findings as preliminary, meaning additional details could emerge as investigators continue examining the collision.
The crash occurred in eastern Baltimore County, southeast of Baltimore, along the North Point Road corridor. Motorists in the area should remain aware of the ongoing investigation and any potential police activity connected with the case.
