Louisville, KY – Dry and warm weather will continue across the Louisville region through Saturday, Oct. 10, with afternoon temperatures generally in the 70s and 80s before rain chances increase Sunday and into early next week.
According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, clear to mostly clear skies are expected through the remainder of the week.
Tuesday will be the coolest day in the five day outlook, with highs across the region ranging from 72 to 78 degrees under clear skies.
Temperatures climb Wednesday, when highs are forecast between 78 and 83 degrees. Similar conditions are expected Thursday, with highs again ranging from 78 to 83.
Friday remains dry and mostly clear, with temperatures reaching 76 to 82 degrees.
The warmest temperatures shown in the outlook arrive Saturday. Highs across the region are forecast between 79 and 85 degrees, with mostly clear skies continuing.
The temperature ranges cover the broader National Weather Service Louisville forecast area, so individual communities, including Louisville, may not reach the highest values shown each day.
No rain is indicated in the NWS five day graphic through Saturday. The pattern is expected to begin changing Sunday, when the agency says rain chances will increase and continue into early next week.
Residents should expect several more days of dry, warm fall weather through Saturday, followed by a greater opportunity for rain beginning Sunday.
