Davenport, IA – Dry, seasonably mild weather will continue across eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois through Monday, with highs mostly in the 60s and lower 70s and cool nights in the 40s.
According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, mostly sunny and dry conditions are expected Saturday as temperatures climb into the mid 60s to lower 70s. Southwest winds will run around 5 to 15 mph.
Temperatures Saturday night will fall into the mid 40s to lower 50s across the region.
Sunday will bring another dry and mild day. Afternoon temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 60s to lower 70s, with north winds of 10 to 15 mph.
Cooler conditions return Sunday night as temperatures fall into the low to mid 40s. The NWS forecast does not indicate a frost or freeze threat.
Monday remains dry and mild, although afternoon temperatures will be slightly cooler. Highs are expected to range from the mid to upper 60s, with light and variable winds.
No rain is indicated in the three day outlook, providing a prolonged stretch of quiet early October weather across the Quad Cities region and surrounding portions of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois.
Residents can expect mild afternoons, cool nights and predominantly sunny skies through the weekend, with dry conditions continuing into Monday.
