According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities office, overnight temperatures across eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois are expected to drop between 41 and 45 degrees Monday night into Tuesday morning, October 20 , despite above average daytime temperatures continuing throughout the week.
Mostly clear skies and relatively light winds will accompany the cooler overnight conditions, creating a noticeable difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures.

By Tuesday afternoon, October 20 , sunshine is expected to push regional temperatures between 68 and 72 degrees, providing comfortable conditions across Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island and Moline.
The mild weather pattern continues Wednesday, October 21, when afternoon highs are forecast to reach 69 to 73 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning will remain chilly, with overnight temperatures expected to range from 42 to 48 degrees.
By Wednesday night into Thursday morning, temperatures should remain slightly warmer, with lows between 45 and 50 degrees.
Thursday, October 22 , is expected to bring another sunny afternoon, with highs reaching 70 to 74 degrees across the region.
The National Weather Service says temperatures will remain above average for this time of October, although the cooler overnight readings will continue to remind residents that fall weather has arrived.
