Severe Storms Threaten Central Indiana Over Memorial Day Weekend

Indianapolis, IN – The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather outlook for Friday and Sunday, predicting the potential for strong to severe storms across Indiana.

According to the National Weather Service, the primary hazards on Friday, May 24, are damaging winds and hail, particularly along and west of the I-69 corridor. On Sunday, May 26, all severe weather threats are possible, including widespread rain and severe thunderstorms. Scattered showers and a few non-severe thunderstorms are expected today, mainly south of I-70. Temperatures will hover around 80°F with moderate humidity throughout the period.

Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions during severe weather conditions.
