Indianapolis, IN – Mild afternoons, cool nights and plentiful sunshine are expected across central Indiana this week, with the next chance for rain holding off until the second half of the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, Monday will be sunny with highs ranging from 73 to 79 degrees across its forecast area. Tuesday will be cooler, with highs from 66 to 73.
Sunny weather continues Wednesday as temperatures rebound slightly, reaching 68 to 76 degrees. A more noticeable warmup arrives Thursday, when highs are forecast from 76 to 83.
Friday remains sunny with highs between 73 and 80, followed by another mild day Saturday. The NWS expects Saturday highs to range from 74 to 82.
Sunday brings the first sign of a weather change. Highs are forecast between 77 and 83 degrees, but the NWS graphic depicts increasing clouds. The agency said the next chance for rain will not arrive until the back half of the weekend.
