Indianapolis, IN – Residents in and around Indianapolis are advised to brace for continued rainfall today, which could exacerbate the already ongoing minor flooding in the area.
According to the National Weather Service, Indianapolis could receive an additional 0.50 to 1 inch of rain as showers persist into the afternoon. Since Monday, certain locales have accumulated 1-2 inches, with higher totals locally, contributing to the floods.
The weather pattern is expected to shift south later today, with rain becoming more scattered, providing some relief to affected communities. While thunder is possible, severe weather is not anticipated.
