Benton County, IN – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a temporary closure of State Road 71 near Freeland Park and Fowler starting Wednesday.
According to INDOT, S.R. 71 will be closed between Division Road and County Road 100 S for bridge rehabilitation work over Finigan Ditch. The closure is expected to last until September, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, specifically U.S. 41 to S.R. 352 to S.R. 18, and exercise caution around all work zones.
