Plymouth, IN – Drivers in Marshall County should prepare for significant travel adjustments as a new bridge construction project begins along U.S. 30. Starting on or after September 8, motorists will encounter a major shift in traffic patterns as crews begin work in the region.
According to INDOT Northwest, traffic will be shifted to the westbound side of the highway between Oak Road and Plymouth Goshen Road. In addition to the lane shift, the ramp from U.S. 30 eastbound to State Road 17/Michigan Street will be closed to all vehicles for the duration of the work.
Construction activities are expected to continue through late November. Commuters are advised to plan for potential delays and exercise caution when navigating the updated construction zones.
