Wheaton, IL – Beer lovers across DuPage County and Chicago's western suburbs have a chance to enjoy an afternoon of craft beer, military history and community giving this Saturday, Nov. 7, as Cantigny's popular Brew it Forward event returns to Wheaton.
According to Cantigny's official event announcement, the gathering will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Division Museum's Tank Park, located at 1S151 Winfield Road.
First held in 2017, Brew it Forward combines beer tastings with support for the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton.
10 Breweries Participating Saturday
Visitors can sample three ounce pours from 10 participating breweries, including 93 Octane, Alter, Bell's, Blind Corner, Half Acre, Lagunitas, New Belgium, Penrose, Revolution and Tighthead.
Beer tasting tokens cost $10 for five or $20 for 12, allowing attendees to explore different selections throughout the afternoon.
Veterans attending the event will receive complimentary beer tastings, according to organizers.
Family Activities and Military History
Beyond the beer selections, visitors can explore the outdoor Tank Park, home to military vehicles and exhibits associated with the First Division Museum.
Family activities and concessions will also be available, making the event accessible to visitors who are not participating in beer tastings.
Organizers say the gathering offers an opportunity to enjoy the fall season while supporting a local organization that assists veterans experiencing homelessness.
Parking and Event Information
Parking costs $16 per vehicle, and the event runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.
The gathering takes place just days before Veterans Day, offering residents throughout DuPage County an opportunity to support veterans while enjoying a community tradition.
