University Park, IL – The Cook County Sheriff 's Office is renewing its public appeal for information about a woman who disappeared more than three years ago in University Park, a south suburban Chicago community, as investigators continue seeking answers about what happened to her.
According to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, Carol Lenahan, now 68, was last seen Friday, March 17, 2023, in University Park, Illinois.
Lenahan was 64 years old when she disappeared.
Last Seen Walking Toward Bus Stop
Investigators say Lenahan was reportedly walking during the early afternoon toward a bus stop near University Parkway and Western Avenue.
She has not been seen or heard from since, according to the sheriff's missing person appeal.
Authorities describe Lenahan as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds.
The Sheriff's Office has not publicly provided additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance in the latest announcement.
