Freeze Warning Ends, but Fog Remains a Concern Although the warning's scheduled expiration has passed, another weather concern could affect drivers.
The National Weather Service issued a Special Weather Statement highlighting patchy dense fog near rivers and lakes.
Visibility could fall to one half mile or less in some locations, with isolated pockets dropping to one quarter mile.
Drivers crossing bridges near the Ohio and Tennessee rivers should remain alert for sudden visibility changes.
Localized slick spots were also possible where temperatures fell below freezing.

Sunshine then takes control, pushing afternoon temperatures toward 67 degrees.
Tuesday brings the week's warmest conditions.
High temperatures reach approximately 71 degrees, nearly 40 degrees warmer than Paducah's early Sunday airport reading.
The warmer weather offers an opportunity for residents to finish leaf cleanup, secure outdoor furniture and prepare gardens for colder conditions.
However, the mild stretch will not continue indefinitely.

That represents a 19 degree decline in daytime highs between Tuesday and Friday.
