Orland Park A Calumet City man is under arrest following a foot chase through Orland Park Mall that saw the man jump off the upper level of the mall in Police say the suspect was wanted for stolen vehicle charges and attempted to flee officers inside the retail center. During the pursuit, the man made a desperate attempt to escape by jumping from the second story of the mall.
The man was apprehended shortly after the fall. He was taken into custody by Orland Park authorities and is currently being held on multiple charges. No additional injuries to bystanders were reported during the incident.
