Moline, IL – Warm fall weather will continue across the Quad Cities region into the weekend, with breezy conditions Tuesday and Saturday and a low chance for showers Friday morning.
According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, Tuesday will be sunny and breezy with regional highs ranging from 74 to 78 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 25 mph.
Wednesday remains warm and sunny, with highs from 74 to 80 degrees. Temperatures then turn cooler Thursday, when afternoon readings are forecast to range from 65 to 72.
Wednesday night lows will range from 46 to 54 degrees, followed by a cooler Thursday night with temperatures falling into the 42 to 50 degree range.
A few more clouds are expected Friday, when highs rebound slightly to between 68 and 76 degrees. The NWS said there is a low chance for showers Friday morning. Friday night lows are forecast from 51 to 58.
Warmer temperatures return Saturday, with regional highs ranging from 75 to 81 degrees. Breezy conditions are also expected during the day.
The temperature ranges cover the broader Quad Cities forecast area in eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois, so individual communities may not reach the highest or lowest values shown.
Residents should expect a generally warm and pleasant fall pattern through Saturday, with Thursday providing the coolest daytime temperatures and Friday morning bringing the week's limited opportunity for showers.
