Mokena police officers arrested a man wanted in connection to an alleged armed robbery on Everett Lane. The robbery occurred on July 22 when a victim arranged a meeting via Facebook Marketplace to purchase a phone. During the meeting, the suspect allegedly produced a firearm and stole the victim's cash.
Following an investigation by the Mokena Police Department, officers identified and apprehended the suspect. The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Charges are currently pending.
