The Riverside Foundation Awarded Starbucks Grant KANKAKEE—State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst recently announced The Riverside Foundation in Kankakee will be receiving a Starbucks Foundation Opportunity for All grant. The funds will be used to bolster the Foundation’s mission to support the community and provide health and wellness services.
"This is a wonderful recognition of the vital work being done by The Riverside Foundation," said Representative Parkhurst. "The Starbucks grant will allow them to expand their reach and continue providing essential services to our residents in Kankakee and the surrounding areas."
The Starbucks Foundation’s Opportunity for All initiative focuses on strengthening communities by investing in local non profit organizations that are addressing critical needs. The grant for The Riverside Foundation is part of a larger effort to support health, youth, and economic opportunity across the country.
