The Rise of Drone Technology Spring is in the air, but what's the Buzz from Above? That is the investigative mentality most drone enthusiasts have when they take to the skies across the Kankakee River Valley. As technology advances, personal drones have become increasingly popular, offering a unique perspective on our local geography.
Exploring the Valley From the lush forests of Kankakee River State Park to the sprawling open fields of Kankakee County, drone operators are finding new ways to document the beauty of the region. Aerial photography allows residents to see familiar landmarks in a completely new light, revealing patterns and landscapes that are often missed from the ground.
Responsible Flying While the hobby is exciting, it is important to remember the regulations set by the FAA. Safety remains the top priority, ensuring that both the wildlife and the local community are protected during every flight adventure.
