Hoffman Estates, IL – Voters in Hoffman Estates and surrounding Cook County communities can avoid the Election Day rush beginning Oct. 19, when early voting opens at Village Hall ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
According to the Village of Hoffman Estates, early voting will run from Monday, Oct. 19, through Monday, Nov. 2 , at Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road.
Voters will have opportunities to cast ballots seven days a week during the early voting period. Village Hall will be open for early voting Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
One important detail could prevent confusion on Election Day: Hoffman Estates Village Hall will not serve as a polling place Tuesday, Nov. 3.
That means residents who wait until Election Day will need to report to their assigned polling location rather than Village Hall.
The early voting location provides another option for residents in the northwest Chicago suburbs who may be working, traveling or otherwise unable to conveniently vote at their assigned polling place on Election Day.
Voters planning to cast a ballot Nov. 3 should verify their polling location before leaving home. The village directs residents to the Cook County Clerk ’s Office website at cookcountyclerkil.gov for Election Day polling place information and other election details.
With early voting beginning Oct. 19, Hoffman Estates residents will have roughly two weeks to cast their ballots before Election Day.
