The Village of Glendale Heights hosts a Patriot Day ceremony tonight, September 11, 2026, featuring a silent parade and candlelight service at Village Hall.

Glendale Heights, IL – The Village of Glendale Heights will honor Patriot Day, September 11, 2026, with a series of commemorative events intended to bring the community together in reflection. The evening will feature a silent parade followed by a somber service to mark the occasion.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. with a silent parade of first responder vehicles. The procession is set to travel from Reskin School, moving through the village toward the final destination at Village Hall .
Following the conclusion of the silent parade, attendees will gather for a candlelight service held on the front steps of Village Hall . The Village of Glendale Heights organized this ceremony to provide residents with an opportunity to pay their respects on the anniversary of September 11, 2026.
