Franklin Park, IL – Nearly four years after Lauren Willhoit disappeared from the Chicago suburbs, her loved ones are renewing their plea for information, hoping someone may hold the missing piece needed to bring her home safely.
According to a recent appeal shared by Missing Women of America, Willhoit has been missing since late December 2022, with no publicly reported breakthrough in the search.
Willhoit was initially believed to have last been seen leaving her home in Melrose Park on Dec. 31, 2022. However, the organization says investigators later confirmed her presence in Franklin Park, in the 3000 block of North Mannheim Road, sometime between Dec. 29 and Dec. 31, 2022.
That location is now considered her last confirmed whereabouts, according to the appeal.
Family Continues Searching for Answers
Supporters say they have spent nearly four years distributing flyers, investigating possible sightings and sharing Lauren's story across social media.
Despite millions of reported post views and thousands of shares, the family continues waiting for answers.
Willhoit, born in April 1992, would now be 34 years old.
She is described as approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 100 to 130 pounds, with long brown hair and green eyes.
Distinctive features include a heart outline tattoo beneath her left eye and a broken or missing front tooth.
