Elwood, IL A 45 year old man was severely injured early Wednesday after being run over by a train at the BNSF Rail Yard.
The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at the rail facility located in Elwood. Emergency responders arrived to find the man with life threatening injuries, according to initial reports from the scene.
The man was immediately treated by paramedics and transported to an area hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
