Danville, IL – Two 19 year old Danville men were arrested after a reported fight at a business led police to a nearby home, where officers allegedly recovered two firearms, including a handgun equipped with a machine gun conversion device.
According to the Danville Police Department, officers were dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of East Main Street at approximately 12:31 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a fight.
Police said a responding officer spotted two people nearby whose clothing allegedly matched descriptions provided by witnesses. When the officer attempted to stop them, the two allegedly ran into a residence in the 1300 block of East Main Street.
