Chicago, IL – Quiet and mild weather will continue across the Chicago area through Saturday, Oct. 10, with temperatures generally near to above normal for early October and regional highs reaching the lower 80s at times.
According to the National Weather Service in Chicago, no significant weather is indicated in its five day outlook. Temperatures will remain near to above normal into the weekend.
Tuesday will be sunny and breezy, with highs across the forecast area ranging from 72 to 76 degrees. Tuesday night lows are expected between 52 and 57.
Wednesday turns warmer, with mostly sunny skies and highs ranging from 74 to 80 degrees. Overnight temperatures then fall into the 46 to 54 degree range.
A cooler day follows Thursday. Regional highs are forecast between 66 and 74 degrees, with more clouds during the day. Thursday night lows range from 42 to 51.
Temperatures begin recovering Friday, with highs between 68 and 75 degrees and nighttime lows of 48 to 55.
Saturday brings another warmup and breezy conditions. Highs are forecast to range from 75 to 81 degrees, followed by lows between 57 and 61.
The ranges cover the broader NWS Chicago forecast area in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana, so Chicago itself may not reach the highest or lowest temperatures displayed.
Residents should expect the quiet pattern to continue through Saturday, with Thursday providing the coolest afternoon before temperatures climb again for the start of the weekend.
